CURRENTLY ON THE FESTIVAL CIRCUIT

Elf Boy is a story about what happens when the people you built your life around move on—and you’re still ready for the adventure. them.

Elf Boy began with a personal realization: watching a long-running Dungeons & Dragons group slowly fall apart as adulthood set in—not from conflict, but from time passing. That experience shaped a story about outgrowing shared adventures and facing the fear of being left behind when others can no longer keep pace. As a director with low vision, I approach filmmaking through emotional clarity rather than surface detail, shaping the film’s writing, sound, and spectacle around rhythm, performance, and intention. Blending fantasy action-comedy with sincerity, Elf Boy uses heightened genre to explore time, aging, and the quiet moment when one chapter ends and another must begin.
